Pärt's Solfeggio for mixed a cappella-choir - sung on the solmization syllables Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si - was composed in 1963 and premiered in Tallinn (Estonia) by the Estonian Radio Choir (director: Eri Klas) a year later.
