Concert Repertoire For Alto Saxophone is a collection of fifteen imaginative and sax-friendly arrangementsand original pieces, all carefully selected and written for the Grade 5–7 player, with piano accompaniment, by talented duo Paul Harris and Beverley Calland. Their wealth of talent and experience have been pooled together to create this varied and challenging collection. From Ellington’s jazz classic Caravan and Brubeck’s It’s a raggy waltz, to Villa-Lobos, Debussy, Gershwin and J. S. Bach - there is something here for every occasion!
Paul Harris is one of the leading figures in music education, with many varied publications to his name. Beverley Calland is in great demand as a player and teacher, and was one of the founder saxophonists in The Fairer Sax.
