Viatore

"Viatore" was originally one of Peteris Vasks's extremely successful works for string orchestra. This newly-published arrangement translates the inexorably shimmering original string sound of the piece into a sonorous organ sound foundation. In the adaptation for organ, the catchy motif of "Viatore" (Passenger) receives entirely new dynamic possibilities. The whole sound potential of the "queen" of instruments is fully explored, the typical "Vasks sound" is maintained and at the same time expanded by new, surprising aspects.
