Book 3A throws open the fingerboard and provides the basis for the discovery and exploration of new keys and finger patterns, with Professor Fasolati as the guide. The close 1-2 finger pattern isintroduced in High G Major and C Major. 3 beats to the bow and stopped slurs are presented, also dotted rhythms, conducting in 2/4 time and 3/4 time, tempo markings, grace notes and more note reading.
